Hello and welcome to our page! We are so happy you are here! Playful Roots was founded with the great idea to share all things play and wonder for toddlers. These tender years truly are magic, and I am passionate about nourishing their roots in all aspects so that they can lead a long fruitful life.
Currently our branches are growing in the area of creating unique colorful crayons! My children have a love for coloring and creating masterpieces. In result of that, we have been finding bits of broken crayons all over our house. I've collected so many broken crayons from their playroom, the car, under our couch cushions to even our laundry! From then on, I've been placing broken crayons in a bucket with the thought of melting and creating new fun crayons.
Many moons later... the activity was underway. I was so happy to see the scraps being recycled and my children excited that they not only have new crayons to use but enjoyed the process of making them. All the while learning basic concepts of art and science in a fun activity. My mama heart was so full and just like that we wanted to share our joy through our creations with others. We really hope you enjoy these crayons as much as we do!
